Mangaluru, Dec 30, 2017: As the whole world is gearing up to welcome another New Year with a bang, even party lovers of Mangaluru ardently wish to welcome the New Year in their own style.
A host of parties have been organised at various places including popular pubs and restaurants. The mood is festive with everyone wishing to ring in the New Year in style. However, there is also an air of apprehension mainly due to the warning of the saffron outfits.
The outfits have reportedly threatened to barge into any party place where DJs and dancing goes beyond 11 pm.
While the City Police Commissioner has already issued a directive stating that all parties have to wind up by 12 midnight, the Bajrangdal wants all partying to end at 11 pm.
But party organisers in Mangaluru seem not that worried about the threats and are hopeful that everything would be smooth sail. They also point out that they would adhere to the instructions of the city Police Commissioner who has already laid down guidelines for New Year Parties and celebrations.
Some party organisers have also roped in DJs from outside Mangaluru for the New year fete. The Mangalore Round Table 115 is reportedly getting a Mumbai based DJ for its party while another party organiser has roped in a Russian DJ.
Meanwhile, City Police Commissioner T R Suresh has warned of stern action against anyone found taking law into hands. Even party organisers have to adhere to the instructions, he said.
