Mangaluru, July 19, 2019: Police have arrested a youth named Yatish (28) of Kemminje on the charges of cheating nearly 30 young men and women of over Rs 6 lakhs after promising them jobs in Indigo Airlines. He has been produced before the court and remanded to judicial custody.

yathish.jThe arrested person who was earlier employed in a private airlines company had planned to make quick money in order to lead a luxury life.

He eyed young men and women in search of jobs after completion of aviation courses. Sources said he had collected Rs 28,000 from many and had made them believe that interview would be held in Kerala on July 7.

However, when his mobile phone was later found switched off, a person from Hosabettu who had paid him cash had lodged a cheating case. Subsequently, the accused was arrested near Kadri Park.
