Mangaluru : Young pair of lovers end lives on railway track

Mangaluru, April 13, 2016 : A young pair of lovers has reportedly ended their lives on the railway tracks at Adyarapadavu on April 13, Wednesday.

The deceased are Jayanthi (30) and Claud(35). Both of them were reported missing since two days and the girl’s family which was aware of their affair had suspected that Jayanthi had eloped with Claud.

Sources said the two were in love since some time but their families opposed the marriage as the two belonged to different religions.

If Claud worked as a postman at Neermarga, Jayanthi was a sales girl at a nearby electronic shop.

It is said the two were run over by a train as soon as they lay themselves down on the track on Wednesday morning.

The bodies have been shifted to Wenlock Hospital by the Railway Police.
