Mangaluru, Dec 16, 2015 :    Rich homage was paid to martyrs  on Vijay Diwas observed to commemorate India’s victory in the 1971 war against Pakistan which led to the liberation of Bangladesh.  Large number of people including dignitaries gathered at the War Memorial at Kadri Park  in the city on December 16, Wednesday to pay rich tributes to the martyrs. The event was organised by the  Dakshina Kannada Ex-Servicemen’s Association, Mangaluru, Shastavu Sri Bhoothanatheshwara Temple Trust and Lions Clubs International, District 317 D.
