Mangaluru, July 25, 2015: It is informed that Savayava Krishika Grahaka Balaga will organise a leafy vegetable and vegetable cultivating competition ’Namma Mane Tarakari Bele; Namma Arogya’.

The competition will be held between July and December 2015. First prize - Rs 5000, second prize - Rs 3000 ( two) and third prize - Rs 2000 (three).

The leafy vegetables and vegetables must have been cultivated in a land of a minimum of two cents area.  The cultivation can also be done on the terrace or in the garden. The growing must be done entirely in organic mode and no chemicals must have been used.

Any four varieties of leafy vegetables and four varieties of vegetables must be included in the cultivation.  Interested may avail application form towards payment of entry fee of Rs 200, before August 10.  For registration and more details, contact: Ratnakar Kulai, Phone: 9448835606.
