Mangaluru: Vaishnavi Ballal becomes states 2nd topper in II PU Examination after re-evaluation

Mangaluru June 17, 2016:  After re-evaluation Vaishnavi Ballal becomes states second topper in II PU Board examination which was held in March 2016, informed Usha Prabha Nayak Secretary of Expert College.

Addressing to the press meet at Expert College today Friday June 17, she said that previously Ravish student of Mysore, who was under coaching in vacation batch was states topper in PU Examination with 597 marks.  Now after re-evaluation Vaishnavi Ballal becomes states second topper with 596 marks.

 

 

 

 

 

Previously she had secured total of 590 marks. In Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology and Sanskrit she secured 100 marks respectively but in English she had secured 90 marks. Vaishnavi was confident about her marks and applied for re-evaluation in which she gained additional 6 marks and extended her total up to 596 marks, said Usha Prabha Nayak.

Vaishnavi had kept her consistency throughout from day one, it was hard to accept her marks in English, so she had to go for re-evaluation which extended up to 596 marks from 590, she added.

Vaishnavi Ballal said that it was a proud moment to achieve this feat, there was lot of area where marks got deducted but was confident enough to apply for re-evaluation to get that deducted marks back. She owed gratitude to entire Expert College unit for their enormous support and encouragement. Vaishnavi Ballal wished to become a neuro surgeon in future.

She also said that, Expert College also gives exposure to extra curriculum activities where lot of opportunities came my way and I performed in various activities such as Drums, Dance, Karate.

Vaishnavi’s Parents Dr. Rajath Ballal, Vasundhara Ballal, Principal of the College Ramachandra Bhat were present.
