Mangaluru : Trio arrested for looting passengers

Mangaluru, Feb 17, 2018:  Panambur police have arrested a gang of three  which was involved in looting drivers of vehicles as well as passengers  at Kudremukh Junction near Tannirbavi Cross Road. The arrests were made on  February 16, Friday. Two other accused had managed to escape.

robbersThose arrested are  Pradeep Kumar alias Pradeep Mendon (47) of Ambalpady, Udupi, Charan Shet of Bolar and Sunil (20) of Kudroli. The three used to threaten people with weapons and loot them with the intention of making enough money to execute their plan of killing a person named Aneesh and his accomplices at Tannirbavi. The  murders were hatched to  avenge the killing of Bharatesh’s elder brother Shivaraj  by the gang led by Aneesh.

The accused Pradeep was wanted in nearly 14 cases while Charan is an accused in four cases.
