Mangaluru: ’Sapna Kiosk’ with world database of over 2 crore titles inaugurated

Mangaluru, Nov 29, 2018: Sapna Book House in Mangauru launched ‘Sapna Kiosk’, a touch screen technology solution that provides access to a database of over two crore active book titles to its retail customers.

Dr. B A Vivek Rai, former vice-chancellor of Karnataka State Open University, Mysore and Kannada University, Hampi inaugurated the Kiosk at the Sapna Book House located in Excel Mall, KS Rao Road, Mangaluru on Thursday, November 29th.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Rai said that he has long relationship with Sapna Book house and that few of his books were published by them. He said that he is regular visitor to the book house. After inaugurationg the the Kiosk, he searched for ’Mookkajjiya Kanasugalu’ written by Dr. Shivaram Karanth and was happy to see it in the kiosk.

Renowned literate Prof Muralidhara Upadhyaya Hiriadka and Nijesh Shah, Director of Sapna Book house were present.

Briefing on the Kiosk, Sapna Group Director Nitin Shah said that people can check the availability of books in English, Kannada, Hindi, Telugu and Tamil at the store through the Kiosk and if need be, can book a book online which could be delivered at the customer’s doorstep.
