Mangaluru, June 22, 2015: Supreme Court Justice V. Gopala Gowda of the supreme court of India june 21, Sunday inspected the Government Wenlock Hospital and Mangaluru District Prison. Justice Gowda spent more than an hour at the hospital having a look at various facilities provided for patients. He was taken around by the Hospital’s superintendent Rajeshwaridevi H.R.
Justice Gowda went around different wards and viewed the facilities provided by the departments including medical, surgical, orthopaedics and neurology. He also had a look at the diagnostics facilities of the hospital and also the newly launched facility providing peritoneal dialysis. Jus. Gowda also visited the Regional Advanced Paediatric Care Centre of the Hospital where infants are treated. The Judge expressed his appreciation for the cleanliness maintained at the hospital and also for quality of services provided.
Earlier, Justice. Gowda visited the district prison at Kodialbail and went around the premises. He was at the prison for nearly an hour. Media persons were prevented entry during this visit. Principal District and Sessions Judge Uma M.G. accompanied Jutice Gowda to the prison and Wenlock Hospital.
