Mangaluru, Oct 31, 2018: A Run for Unity was organised in the city on October 31, Wednesday to mark the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabha Bhai Patel, the Iron Man of India. The Run was flagged off at Kadri Park and concluded at the Karavali Utsav Grounds.
Speaking on the occasion, senior party leader Pratap Simha Nayak described Patel as the architect of modern India and also recalled the contributions of Patel towards the unity and prosperity of India.
MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, MLA Vedavyas Kamath, former MLA Yogish Bhat and other BJP leaders including Roopa D Bangera, Premananda Shetty were present.
