Mangaluru: RSS takes out annual Route March

Mangaluru, Jan 31, 2016: As many as 1,500 RSS workers took part in the annual Route March or Patha Sanchalan of the Mangaluru taluk unit of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh held here on January 31, Sunday. The route march which was earlier scheduled to be held on Vijayadashami last year was postponed due to heavy rains.

Prominent among the participants in the Route March were Dr. Vaman Shenoy, South Provincial Sanghachalak of RSS, Dr Satish Rao, Mangaluru Zilla Sanghachalak, PS Prakash and others.

The route march which commenced from Nehru Maidan early Sunday morning culminated at the same venue after passing through State Bank, Bunder, Temple Square and Hampankatta Junction. The RSS workers also performed drill at Nehru Maidan.
