Mangaluru Aug 29, 2016: Popular Front of India activists who had arrived to stage protest in front of Commissioner’s Office was interrupted by police and was lathi charged on August 29, Monday.
The activists were not permitted to stage protest and engaged arguments with the police and were interrupted from staging protest. Situation turned violent and led to conflict then police personnel had to resort to mild lathi charge and detain them.
PFI activists were protesting against the arrest of innocent Saifulla who has alleged role in Charan’s murder at Vamanjoor.
PFI also staged protest at Moodushedde on August 28 regard to the same issue.

The police have to take the lathi’s to control the people. The police only after a proper investigation they will come a conclusion whether he is innocent. |
