Mangaluru, Jan 08 2019: There has been a mixed response to the Bharath Bundh call given by various trade unions against the Union Government policies. Some private buses as well as KSRTC buses are seen  plying on the roads.

Several autorickshaws are also seen operating though the Auto Drivers’ Union had earlier supported the bundh call.

Many shops and business establishments are found open while a few have downed shutters. Schools and colleges however are closed as the district administration had already declared a holiday.
