Mangaluru, Nov 7, 2015 : An attempt was made on the life of a person who reportedly  opposed sale of ganja at Shantinagara area on November 6, Friday evening.

Murder attemptIt has been alleged that Abdul Khader of Shantinagara who was standing  near a shop at Shantinagara along with his friends Hameem, Tamsheer, Safwan, Naushad and Irfan was threatened with a knife by  one Sumith of Moodushedde who even abused the former and  made an attempt on his life.


Luckily Khader managed to escape from the attacker.

In his complaint with Kavoor police, Khader has alleged that the accused was engaged in drug peddling in Shantinagar and Kavoor areas and was reportedly angry with the local youth who opposed his illegal activity.
