Mangaluru: Miscreants set ablaze fish tempo at Padavinangady Junction

Mangaluru, Dec 9, 2014 : Some unidentified miscreants have torched a fish tempo which was parked on the roadside  at Padavinangady junction on December 8, Monday night.

Sources said the miscreants  opened the diesel tank of the tempo bearing registration number KA 19B 4614 and set it afire. Though the police and fire service personnel rushed to the spot and tried to douse the fire, the tempo was completely gutted by then.


An autorickshaw which was parked nearby was however unharmed as it was soon shifted from the spot. KV Jagadish, DCP visited the spot. A case has been registered by Kankanady police.
