Mangaluru, Dec 26, 2015:   Multiplexes in Mangaluru are still not screening the Shah Rukh Khan-Kajol starrer ’Dilwale’ despite the Police Department deploying KSRP forces  both  inside and outside the malls.

: Malls reluctant to screen ’Dilwale’ even after deployment of KSRP forces

The move has been made in the wake of the December 20 protest by Bhajrang Dal activists outside three malls in the city forcing them to suspend screening of the movie. The protest was  in retaliation to the ’intolerance’ remarks recently made by the actor.

DCP Shantharaju states that the Department has done its duty by providing protection and that now it is upto the theatres to screen the film or not.

Meanwhile, authorities of Big Cinemas and PVR Cinemas have said they have no plans to screen the movie as of now.

Home Minister Dr G Parameshwar has already warned of stern action against those resorting to immoral rowdyism and prevent screening of  films.

Even the DYFI had on December 24 staged a protest demanding action against those who prevented the screening of the film.

Immoral rowdyism and a pass time issue. Will this effect the SRK in any manner then why this protest. A busy person with a hectic schedule will bother in these issues.

Instead of inviting unwanted trouble better ban the screening of movie. Some illiterate goons wait for some issues to make involvement and destroy the peace and harmony of the entire place

Roshni Arvind, Chennai Fri, December-25-2015, 11:37

This is not a big issue . The activist need not protest as the Malls has banned the screening of Dilwale
