Mangaluru, Feb 25: Kerala CM, Pinarai Vijayan arrived in the city by Malabar express at 10-30 AM. He was recieved by J Balakrishna Shetty, CPI(M), District President and other CPI(M) leaders at the Mangalore Central railway station.
He will be innaugurating a program organized by Vartha Bharathi at IMA Hall, Attavar, Mangaluru. He will also attend a program organized by the CPI(M) at Nehru Maidan in the after noon.
The CM was accompanied by Kasagod MP, Karunakaran and CPI(M) Karnataka State Secretory, G V Srirama Reddy. Pinarai Vijayan arrived Mangaluru in the backdrop of Sangh Parivar’s threat of preventing him enter Karnataka. The Sangh Parivar has called a Bandh on this day to distruct and prevent him from attending various programs.
Since morning, the Sangh goons have gone around the city and forced all shop and establishment in the city and warned them of dire consequences if they don’t oblige to their order.
