Mangaluru, Nov 16, 2018: Thieves who broke into a house at Kankanady have decamped with jewellery worth around Rs 24,500.


TheftThe house belonged to Muniraj Meena of Rajasthan who works in the Railways. Muniraj who resides in the quarters near the Mangaluru Junction Railway Station had been to his native place on November 3 for Deepavali.  The theft came to light when the family returned on November 14.

Thieves have broken the door lock and have ransacked the house. The stolen valuables included two gold bangles  and silver anklets.
Kankanady Police have registered a case.
