Mangaluru: Hidden mobile camera installed at ladies toilet in University Campus

Mangaluru Sep 1, 2016: It was a shocking incident that a live mobile camera was installed at Ladies toilet in Mangalore university campus.

Mangalore University 1 Though the incident was discovered on August 24th but less prominence was shown and the incident came to light on August 31st during the syndicate meeting.

A student noticed that the camera was fixed and informed the management. Later they found that the mobile camera had transmitted the images on August 7 and 11. The mobile phone had two clippings of 15 and 30 minutes duration in its database. It was unknown when the camera was fixed.

The mobile was wrapped in a paper and inserted into the plank in the toilet. The paper was painted in blue to match it to color of the plank even the power bank was used for the mobile, so that it could remain active for long.
