Mangaluru : Hi-tech sex racket busted; CCB cops arrest two

Mangaluru, Jan 31, 2017: Two pimps who were part of a hi-tech prostitution racket that operated from a lodge at K S Rao Road in Mangaluru were arrested by the CCB Police on January 30, Monday. Two mobile phones, an autorickshaw and cash of Rs 12,500 have been recovered from them.

arrest The value of the seized goods has been put at Rs 1,64,500.

It is learnt, the duo used to lure customers through a website and once the latter arrived at the lodge they used to strike a deal with them.

The raid led by CCB Inspector Sunil Y Nayak followed a tip off.

The accused were arrested near the old bus stand area in the city.

The duo has been handed over to the Bunder Police for further interrogation.
