Mangaluru, Nov 2, 2015 : Though clashes in the District Prison in Mangaluru is not common, this time however the clash eventually led to the killing of two undertrials including notorious criminal Madoor Isubu on November 2, Monday morning.
Twelve other undertrials and a cop were injured in the clashes. The other undertrial who died in the clashes is identified as Ganesh Shetty.

It is learnt that clashes occurred when the under trials had assembled for the breakfast. The reason for the clashes is however not known. Sources revealed that there have been some minor fights between under trials since the past three days.
The deceased Isubu said to be having underworld links was arrested in Riyadh by the Interpol in 2010. He was lodged in the Mangaluru Prison after being brought here and was wanted in several murder cases including the murder of BJP leader Sukhananda Shetty and another criminal named Candle Santhu.
Some of the injured undertrials have been identified as Yuvaraj Soorinje, Pradeep Vamanjoor, Umesh Kombar, Nitesh, Iqbal and Asif. All of them have been admitted to Wenlock Hospital.
