The pass percentage has increased and 114 schools have achieved 100 per cent results.  Milagres Educational Institutions former administrator Rev Fr Francis X Gomes mentioned that that education is learning process,  womb to tomb. In the era of technology, a teacher should always be a learner, else they have to learn from students. Now, students have become multi-talented.

There are toppers who score high  marks and there are students who can achieve with guidance minimal.  All toppers should become achievers,  the World has become competitive with global village concept. Apart from engineering and medical, there are several other neglected fields. Students can think over and take a firm decision and develop work culture. Teachers should substitute for  parents in school. Parents should develop responsibility among children.

Bravery is a quality of mind with children.  Catholic Board of Education Secretary Rev Fr Gerald D’Souza said that students are the future of the country. Educational institutions and teachers should join hands with parents.

DDPI Walter D’Mellow released the sixth music CD by Padua High School Graduate Assistant Stany Baretto, a collection of Kannada patriotic songs. The songs are written and edited by Stany Baretto himself, without the help of sponsors. Stany Baretto donated 1,000 CDs to MCHMPA which will be distributed to students of various schools in Mangaluru. Stany Baretto had released five music CDs already and distributed 1,000 copies of each free of cost.

Stany Baretto handed over fixed deposit certificate of Rs 3 lakh to MCHMPA President Aloysius D’Souza. The interest of this amount will provide scholarships of Rs 10,000 for three meritorious students - two Kannada medium and one English medium, through MCHMPA, from 2016.
