Mangaluru Dasara, Navaratri festivities conclude

Mangaluru, Oct 16, 2021: The Mangaluru Dasara and Navaratri celebrations concluded on October 15, Friday being Vijaya Dashami day.
This year due to Covid restrictions the Grand Shobhayatre of the Mangaluru Dasara festivities of Kudroli Gokarnanatha shrine was not held. However, all programmes and rituals were held within the temple precincts. The Huli Vesha team of Biruver Friends was the added attraction of the final day of the festivities. The idols of Goddess Sharada and Navadurgas were immersed in the temple pond as part of the Jalaka which marks the culmination of the festivities.
In Mangaladevi Temple, several devotees participated in the Rathotsava as part of Navaratri celebrations.
