Mangaluru: Clash between 2 groups at Ullal over vehicle loan issue

Mangaluru, Oct  03, 2015: A clash ensued between two groups near at Tokkottu Ullalbail on October 2, Friday night after two staff of a private finance company intercepted a bike rider and demanded that he paid the pending instalment.

 

It is learnt, the debtor who was riding an Enticer bike (KA 19 EJ 5657) was waylaid by the finance company staff who were on a Pulsar bike and were following  the former upto some distance. Soon there was an argument between the bike rider and the two staff of the finance company.

As if to add fuel to fire, one of the staff even threw the keys of the Enticer bike inside the compound of a nearby house.  Both sides then reportedly made phone calls to their friends and very soon a large crowd gathered and engaged in a fighting. The warring groups later took to heels on noticing the arrival of the police.

The two bikes were abandoned on the spot. It has been gathered that so far no police complaint has been lodged.
