bank.Mangaluru, Oct 22, 2019:  Banking services in branches of various banks in the  district have been greatly affected as most employees have abstained from work as per the nationwide strike call given by the All India Bank Employees’ Union   opposing bank mergers and demanding fulfilment of several of their demands.

 

Though all bank branches are open, the officials themselves are forced to carry out the  banking operations as most staff are absent. Many customers were unaware of today’s strike.
