Mangaluru: Bank employee fatally run over by bus at Kankanady

 Mangaluru Oct 20, 2015 : A bank employee lost his life  when a Route No. 5 bus ran over him just as he alighted from the bus in front of the Fr Muller Hospital at Kankanady on October 20, Tuesday.

 

 

The deceased   is Balakrishna (50), an employee in Valencia Branch of ICICI Bank.  He was a resident of Vamanjoor.  It has been gathered that  the mishap took place when Balakrishna who had been to the  ICICI Bank  Head Office at Hampankatta on some official work, was returning  to the Valencia branch of the Bank.

It is learnt the bus ran over his head killing him instantly. The Kadri police have seized the bus and are investigating.

The deceased Balakrishna has left behind his wife and three children.
