Mangaluru, Nov 19, 2016 : Tulasidas (30) of Kolambe, an active Bajrangdal activist from Ullal area who was taken into custody in connection with the case of assault on two youngsters at Manjanady recently, is now reported missing.
The family members of Tulasidas are reportedly planning to file a habeas corpus writ in a court in Bantwal.
It has been gathered that Tulasidas was wanted in connection with several cases including using force to thwart cattle trafficking and also obstructing the tour of Mudipu college students some time back.
It is believed that the Manjanady incident wherein Sameer and Nawaz were assaulted was in retaliation to the recent assault on RSS activist Rammohan.
The police who had released Tulasidas after they had first taken him into custody in the Manjanady case, later again took him to custody late night. Since then he has not returned home and his mobile too is switched off.
The family of Tulasidas has lodged a complaint with Konaje Police.
