Mangaluru: BJP protest against Deepak’s murder; many arrested for Rasta Roko

Mangaluru, Jan 04, 2018 : Workers of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Mangaluru staged a rasta roko near PVS circle on January 04, Thursday, protesting against the murder of Deepk Rao in Katipalla.

BJP workers were on the streets blocking roads raising slogans against the state government demanding justice to Deepak’s family.

The police personnels from Bunder and  Pandeshwar police station reached the spot took the BJP workers and leaders into custody  during the rasta roko. Traffic in the region was snarled for somtime.

Vedavyas Kamath, Roopa D Bangera, Monappa Bhandary, Satish Prabhu and others were among the arrested.
