Manglaru Jul 15, 2016: Two persons have been arrested for smuggling gold and saffron at Mangaluru International Airport today July 15, Friday.
Arrested have been identified as Mohammed Hanif from Mangaluru and Uddappa of Kodagu . Both were travelling by Spice Jets Dubai-Mumbai-Mangaluru flight.
Custom officials seized 2kg of gold and Saffron from their possession. Further investigation is on.
