Mangaluru, Oct 25, 2019: Former  chairman of the Department of Commerce in Mangalore University Prof Raghuram  passed away due to cardiac arrest on October 23, Wednesday.

Prof. Raghuram had returned from service just last year. On  Wednesday, Raghuram had  visited the Commerce Department of the University and was seated on the chair which he used to occupy while  serving the University when he developed chest pain. Though he was immediately rushed to a private hospital at Derlakatte his life could not be saved.

He was a bachelor and is survived by his sister with whom he stayed in Konaje.
