Mangalore Press Club Felicitates 2 Journalists

The Mangalore Press Club organized a farewell programme to felicitate journalists Sadananda of PTI and Harish Adoor of Samyuktha Karnataka who are leaving their jobs and Mangalore on October 22, Thursday. 

Harish Adoor was the sub-editor of Samyuktha Karnataka, a Kannada daily. He has now secured a job as a lecturer in Alva’s College, Moodubidri. 

Sadananda, a senior journalist of PTI has been transferred to Bangalore after successfully completing 10 years of service in Mangalore 

Rohini, the officer of Information and Publicity Department, presided over the function and honored both journalists. Guruvappa T Balepuni, a coworker, shared stories and experiences of working with the 2 journalists. Agnel Rodrigues of Coastal Times spoke about the services rendered by these journalists to media. 

Anand Shetty of Hosa Digantha was present on the occasion. Harish Rai of Vijaya Karnataka welcomed the gathering; and Harsha, the president of Press Club proposed the vote of thanks.
