Mangalore Premier League 4.0 player auction on Feb 17

Mangaluru, Feb 16, 2018: The player auction of Mangalore Premier League Cricket Tournament   organised by  Brand Vision Events, Mangaluru Occasional and Sea Bird Cricket Academy, will be held at the Second Floor of Forum Fiza Mall on February 17 Saturday from 2.30 pm onwards.

 

Informing this to reporters here on February 16, Friday,  Mohammad Sirajuddin, Chairman of  MPL said Mangalore Premier League 4.0  will be held from March 20 to April 1 this year at the B R Ambedkar Cricket Stadium, NMPT, Mangaluru.

He stated that the auction will be held  on lines of  the IPL player auction  and that the list of players in A, B and C category has been finalised and sent to owners of the 12 teams. The live webcast of the auction process would be made through www.facebook/channelonekarnataka/ and facebook.com/mplofficial.”

The 12 teams that will take part in the tournament are:  Mangalore United, T4 Super Kings Valavoor, Maestro Titans, Team Elegant, Classic Bantwal,  Coastal Digest.com Mangalore, United Ullala, Bedra Bulls Moodabidri, Wise Warriors, Ali Warriors, A.K. Sports Udupi and Karkala Gladiators.

As per the provision provided, teams have  nominated  some prominent players namely   Nischith Rao (United Ullala), Bharath Duri (Bedra), Nehal D’Souza (Maestro Titan), Manoj M (Elegant), Akshaya Ballal (Mangalore United), Adithya Somanna (Coastal), Nehal Ullal (T4), Rahul Kotian (Wise), Rithesh Bhatkal (Ali Warriors), K.C. Cariappa (AK Sports), Nithin Mulki (Gladiators) Nehal D’souza (Maestro Titan), Manoj M (Elegant) and Arif Mukka (Classic).

 Balakrishna Parkala , Media in charge,  Shashidhar Kodikal of Sea Bird Cricket Academy and Safther Ali Shirva, Coordinator were present at the press conference.
