Mangalore: Jubilant Congress celebrates victory in LS by-polls

Mangalore, Aug 24, 2013: The District Congress Committee, celebrated Vijayotsava in front of  the District Congress Office on August 24, Saturday  following the party’s thumping win in the by-polls to the Mandya and Bangalore Rural Parliamentary constituencies.

The Vijayotsava was  led by State Health and Family Welfare minister U T Khader along with other Congress leaders.

 

 

Speaking on the occasion, Khader said that the voters of these two constituencies have responded positively to the developmental works carried out under the leadership of CM Siddaramaiah.

The CM with the support party Chief  Sonia Gandhi and KPCC President Parameshwar has been successful in giving a people friendly administration, he said. 

Congress Leaders Ibrahim Kodijal, Ivan D’Souza Sadashiva ullal, T K Sudhir, Ashok D K, Nazir Bajal, Padmanabh Amin, Denis D’Silva, Staney Alvares, Mithun Rai, Ashith Pereira, Mohan Mendon, Krithin Kumar, Meril Rego, and others were present.
