Mangalore Cycling Club celebrated World Environment Day 2019 by flagging off Cyclothon

Mangaluru, Jun 06, 2019 : Nehru Yuva Kendra, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India in association with Mangalore Cycling Club celebrated World Environment Day 2019 by flagging off a Cyclothon. It started at Mangaluru City Corporation.

Chief Guest for the occassion was Raghuveer Souterpete, District Youth Coordinator, Nehru Yuva Kendra, who addressed the gathering and said that the responsibility to stop air pollution should arise in all the citizens and one should selflessly standup for this. He also suggested that one should use as much public transport as possible.

In this way Awareness drive for the event was conducted. Anil Shet, President of Mangalore Cycling Club, presided over the event. Tilak Kumar, Volunteer of UNV Nehru Yuva Kendra was present during the drive
