Mangalore: Congress winds up poll campaign with a rally of supporters of Janardhan Poojary

Mangalore, Apr 15: The District Congress today winded up Lok Sabha election campaign taking out a rally of supporters of B Janardhan Poojary on Tuesday April 15, the last day of the campaigning.  The polling will be held on Thursday April 17. 

The rally was flagged off from Nehru Maidan with thousands of supporters cheering for Janardhan Poojary, Congress candidate for Lok Sabha from Dakshina Kannada Constituency. The rally went through State Bank circle, Rao and Rao circle, K.S. Rao road, PVS circle, Ballalbagh, Ladyhill and culminated at Urwa market.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Addressing the party workers and supporters at Urwa market ground, B. Janardhan Poojary said that he was very happy to see the young men and women taking part in the rally. “They have worked for my victory in the election. They supported me through- out the campaign in the hot sun going house to house and door to door seeking vote for congress. I am indebted to them”.

“The people of Dakshina Kannada are intelligent and hardworking. They have proved their power and entrepreneurship in all fields. “We have contributed a great lot to the country in various fields. They don’t need Gujarat model of enterprise. After all Gujarath is not a Heavon as claimed by Modi. In fact it is a Hell” 

U T Khadar, Minister for Health and family welfare on the occasion said, "Congress party and all workers have dedicated all their might and sweat for the victory of Janardhan Poojary. The people of the district know the greatness of our senior leader Janardhan Pojary. They will vote and elect him to represent them in the Parliament.

J R Lobo, MLA, Mayor Mahabala Marla, Mohiuddin Bava, MLA, Ibrahim Kodijal, Harikrishna Bantwal, Ivan D’Souza, T K Sudhir and many prominent leaders were present on the occasion.
