Mangalore, June 01: The newly built library building of Roshani Nilaya institute of Social Service was inaugurated by Rev Fr Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza, Bishop Mangalore Diocese, on May 31.

On the occasion, an exhibition highlighting Mangalores traditional artifact was held. Former Minister Vinay Kumar Sorake has inaugurated the exhibition. Golden Jubilee Finale function was also conducted after the inauguration of exhibition.

Roshani Nilaya institution has maintained good rapport with founder members of the institution now also said Dr Philomena D’ Souza, Provincial, Daughter of the Heart of Mary. She was speaking with audience in a stage function. The institution had only three students in its incipient stage. But later it enhanced as big institution with hundreds of sisters. At the same time, institution has also fostered students as well as teachers, she added.


Golden Jubilee Souvenir edited by Olinda Pereira and a book ‘Tamoha’ were released on the occasion. Noemia N D’Souza, President of Institute of Social Service, welcomed the audience.
