Mangaluru July 24, 2016:  As there was heavy rains in the city a huge tree  uproot  near SCS Hospital at  Balmatta road in Mangaluru on July 24, Sunday at around 10.00 am,  damaging the electric pole situated closeby.

The residents of  the area say that the tree was quite old and   was rotten for inside may be the reason for the sudden fall of the tree.  As the concretion work of road is going on the traffic was less these days. Traffic in the region was snarled for some time.


On information the fire personnel immediately reached the spot to clear the road for the movement of vehicles.
