Man from Padil dies in mishap at Kuwait oil refinery

Mangaluru, June 16, 2020: A man hailing from Padil in Mangaluru who was employed in an oil refinery at Kuwait has succumbed to the burn injuries which he had suffered in a mishap that took place in a drilling tower of the Al-Sabriya refinery on June 11.
The deceased has been identified as Satish Kochu Shetty (47) . He died on Sunday. He has left behind his mother and sister.
