Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. to launch manpower development initiative

Mangalore, Jul 12: Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. in partnership with St. Joseph’s Industrial Training Center in Mangalore will launch an initiative to develop manpower as part of which it will offer infrastructure and training support to the institute in a bid to scale the employability of students in the automobile industry. Bishop of Mangalore Diocese Rev. Fr. Aloysius Paul D’Souza will launch the initiative.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Mr. Sanjoy Gupta, the vice president of customer care at the automotive sector of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. spoke about the rising need for state-of-the-art training institutions and skilled professionals in the automobile sector and that Mahindra & Mahindra wishes to address this requirement as a socially responsible corporate by helping to develop manpower through industry-academia partnerships.

Mr. R. C. Rodrigues, the dealer-owner of Karnataka Agencies said that the agency was happy to support this manpower initiative by organizing on-the-job training in its workshops and provide employment at the successful completion of the course.

Director of St. Joseph’s Industrial Training Centre Mr. J. B. Crasta said that Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. will play a major role in the creation of required skills by training the students of St. Joseph’s Industrial Centre. He also said that the partnership will result in employment generation since it will produce individuals skilled enough to handle the challenges of the automobile industry
