Magician hopes to make his achievement in Limca Book of records

Mangalore, Aug 16, 2012 : Battling against all odds like wind, rain, hunger and fatigue Samarth Shenoy, the magician who rode blindfolded from Mysore Palace on Aug 14, 2012 reached Mangalore at 6: 10 pm on Aug 15.

 

 

“I had always wanted to do something remarkable for the country. Since I love to ride, I took up this challenge of riding blindfolded, and here I am today very proud of my achievement”, he said beamingly. He said the task was tough as one wrong move could be fatal, in the traffic, adding that the Ghats section journey was a real challenging one.

The young magician was accompanied by his technical crew, who drove alongside with him throughout the journey. He hopes of marking his achievement in the Limca book of records.

He was cheered by the DDPI moses Jayashekar, while untying his black scarf which laid blindfolded on Samarth for a whole 34 hours.

Samarth has been performing magic since he was 13 years. He has performed over 1000 shows across the globe including countries like Switzerland, Germany, France, Itlay, and Tanzania. He has also performed for education called “Shaikshanika Jadoo”.
