Lobo who spoke to reporters here on February 27, Wednesday  has demanded the resignation of Kamath for   making false allegations regarding the project. He deplored the frequent criticisms leveled against him by MLA Kamath regarding the project on the grounds that it has not been executed satisfactorily.

Lobo claimed that he was striving hard to  implement the  project for which a 9 acre land has been identified  at Shaktinagar and Rs 61.50 crore has been sanctioned.   Though necessary permissions including the one from the Forest Department have been obtained,  MLA Kamath  was trying to secure a stay to the Forest Departent permission, alleged Lobo.

He also stated that the MLA should resign if he cannot complete the project."The MLA has not  secured funds for any project during his tenure so far but was only inaugurating projects sanctioned during my tenure", alleged Lobo.

Mayor Bhasker K, Congress leader Kallige Taranath Shetty and others were present.
