MLA Bava injured in car mishap; hospitalised

Mangaluru, Feb 10, 2016: Mangaluru North MLA B.A. Mohiuddin Bava sustained injuries when the car in which he was travelling landed in a ditch off the NH 66 near MCF at Panambur on February 10, Wednesday morning. The MLA has been hospitalised and is reportedly undergoing a minor surgery. He has sustained injures on his left hand. Even the car driver has suffered minor injuries in the accident.

Bava was on way to the Mangaluru International Airport to leave for Bengaluru to attend an official meeting when the mishap occurred. It is learnt, the car driver veered the vehicle to the extreme left in an attempt to avoid hitting a pedestrian, resulting in the mishap.

The MLA’s car has also been damaged in the mishap.
