MCC in haste to exhaust Smart City funds, alleges opposition leader Abdul Ravoof

Mangaluru, Nov 11, 2020:    The Mangaluru City Corporation administration is in an undue haste to exhaust the Smart City funds, alleged  Opposition leader in MCC Abdul Ravoof.

 

 

 

Speaking to reporters at the Congress Bhavan at Mallikatta on November 11,  Wednesday, he said there was no co-ordination between Smart City Project authorities and MCC. Neither do they have any vision, he said and alleged that works are being undertaken indiscriminately. The traffic problem in the city has worsened as  works have been commenced simultaneously at Hampankatta, Bunder, Carstreet and near RTO, he said and opined that the BJP lacks  experience in administration.

Former mayors Shashidhar Hegde, Bhasker Moily, Jacintha Vijay Alfred, Corporators  Naveen D’Souza, A C Vinayraj, Samshuddin Kudroli, Lancelot Pinto and others were present.
