Lourdes School hosts Global music carnival ‘Forte’

Mangaluru, Nov 15, 2014:  A global musical carnival (East meets West)  organized by  Lourdes Central School, Bejai in the city was inaugurated on November 14, Friday by Rev. Fr Aloysius Paul D’Souza, Bishop of Mangalore at the LCS Grounds at Bejai.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In his address, the Bishop appreciated the school authorities for organizing the well managed event  which will evince an interest in extracurricular activities in the school.

Yagna Shetty, sandalwood star was the chief guest   and star attraction of the event.
Fr Michael Lobo, Principal Lourdes Central School, Fr Wilson Vitus D’Souza, Manager, Lourdes Central School,  Fr Jerald D’Souza, Secretary of Catholic Board of Education, Nirmal D’Souza,  Vice President of Bejai Church and others were present on the occasion.

A variety of musical and cultural events including Kathak performance, African Tribal dance, Spanish tap dance, Russian ballet  etc were held as part of the Carnival.
