Let there be no hatred in name of language: Prof. B M Hegde

Mangaluru, Nov 02, 2017: There should be no hatred or animosity between people in their rush to show their love and admiration towards one language, said eminent doctor Prof. B M Hegde.

He was speaking  at the district level Kannada Rajyotsava celebrations held at Town Hall under the aegis of  District Administration, District Kannada Sahitya Parishat and Kannada and Culture Department. Unity in the society should not be disrupted in the name of language, he said.

A total of 23 talented Kannadiga children from other states and 12 local talents were honoured on the occasion.

Pradeep Kumar Kalkura, District President of Kannada Sahitya Parishat,  Chandrahas Rai B, Assistant Director of Kannada and Culture Department, Shivaramaiah, DDPI and others were present.
