Mangaluru, Nov 18, 2020: Mangaluru MLA and former minister U T Khader who lashed out at the state government for its decision to form different corporations to please different communities, has demanded that the government must provide a corporation for the development of all castes in the district.
“Let the government form corporations for the Billawa, Gatti, Bunts, Kottari, Ganiga and Kulal communities of the district,” said Khader while speaking to media persons here.
On the government announcement regarding formation of Maratha Development Corporation, Khader said “ When there was Shira bye polls they formed Gollara Abhivridhi Nigama. Now they have decided to form Maratha Development Corporation. Such corporations are announced only when there are bye elections. Who is resorting to caste appeasement,?,” questioned Khader.
