Lancy Nite held in Kirem Church

Mangalore, Dec 26, 2011 : The third Lancy Nite was held on the grounds of Kirem Church on Dec 25 Sunday. The star of this musical event was Lancy Noronha, who has composed more than 300 songs, along with his wife Shyna and daughter Lenita and other singers such as Anita Samson, Joseph Mathaias, V. V. Santos, and Ronald Crasta.

Kenny Zuzarte presented two popular numbers on this occasion and so did Romeo of Mumbai. The comedians of the event were Joseph and Jerry Rasquinha, popularly known as Jerry – Duje.

Fr. Paul Pinto, the parish priest of Kirem Church; Walter Nandalike, the editor-in-chief of Daijiworld; Dian D’Souza of Mukamar, the Konkani writer; and Robert Rodrigues, the vice president of Kirem Church Council, were also present.

Moga Sagor, Lancy Noronha’s second CD, was released on this occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Walter Nandalike congratulated Joseph Mathaias and Lancy Noronha.

The people of Kirem parish organized a cake and kuswar auction on this occasion.
