LPG verification process has created problems - JD (S)

Mangalore, July 28: According to a press release issued by M. G. Hegde, the state secretary of the JD (S) and president of the district JD (S), the Food and Civil Supplies Department has created a number of problems for common people in the course of verifying LPG connections and identifying illegal connections. 

They urged the department to continue the process for another month and state clearly what exactly it means by illegal connection. They also demanded that immediate action should be taken against distributors who have not delivered cylinders to the customers. They demanded that government orders should be issued to cancel the permits of distributors who supply cylinders illegally. 

The JD (S) also warned that it will organize intense protests if these illegal activities continue.
