Kundapur : Mounting debts forces farmer to end life

Kundapur, March 29, 2016 :  A 54 year old farmer from Kutyanikal in Halkal village in Jadkal Panchayat  has reportedly ended his life by   consuming insecticide on March 27, Saturday. It is learnt, mounting debts had driven him to the extreme step.


suicideThe deceased is Tangachchan alias KV Thomas. Sources said, the  bank which had advanced loan to Thomas had directed him to clear the loan by March end.  Unable to find a way, Thomas is learnt to have  chosen to end his life.


He had two acres of land where he grew coconut   and had also engaged in rubber cultivation.


 It is learnt, he ended his life when his wife and son had been to the church.


K Gopal Poojary, Byndoor MLA visited the residence of the famer and consoled his grieving family. Byndoor Police have registered a case of unnatural death. in

The suicide of the farmers is the state has not come to an end. What ios our CM doing is he silently watching the farmer’s dying ? He i not worth to be the CM because he does not act on any problems of e public
