Kundapur, Nov 25, 2017:  In a swift move, the Kundapur police have   arrested a thief within two hours of him committing a crime  in the town on November 25, Saturday. The accused  has been identified as Harish Acharya (46) of Kumbhashi.

He had allegedly  broke into the  house of a person named Ravi at the PWD quarters  when the occupants were away and  had  stolen jewellery. The theft came to light when Ravi’s wife Prema returned home and found the rear door open. On realising that  there has been a theft she lodged a complaint. The police who swung into action immediately, arrested the accused at the market place within two hours of the theft.
